Off Pod Propulsion

Hi!

We are a team designing the new pod for the second SpaceX challenge, we were wondering if it possible to add extra features to the tunnel. In the rulebook it is stated that this is possible, but I tought that we have discuss it with Spacex case by case.

It is possible?

 

Hey! This is likely *super* late, but I'm going to try to resurrect these forums.

Short answer: Contact SpaceX directly, through your advisors.
Longer answer: Probably not. What were you thinking of? The tube is already complete, and adding features (that may extend the full mile of tubing) will be expensive if not necessary. The only thing that was up for debate in Comp I was the reflective tape type/spacing, which changed a few times leading up to the competition.
